ÉLAN BLEU started like most good things do...

...with a slightly chaotic idea and a glass in hand. Maternity leave round 1 sounded like the perfect time to start a new business – it wasn’t! But the idea stuck and niggled away at me ever since. And this time, this year (2026) it just felt right.
Because really, this wasn’t just about creating a rosé. It was about creating the rosé you reach for, every time.

My mum was the original rosé girl - before Provence had its moment, before pale became a personality. Always a glass in hand, always the life and soul. Sweet Grenache, full of joy, zero pretence. She had that energy people gravitate towards… the kind you don’t forget. Her warmth, laughter, and unmistakable blue eyes shaped the spirit behind the brand.

And somewhere along the way, I realised I’d stepped into those shoes. Same spirit. Same love for a full table and a long night - just with my own taste; a little more refined, a little more considered. That’s where ÉLAN BLEU began.

'ÉLAN' - means sprit and energy in French. 'Bleu' is synonymous with summer, clarity, openness and of course inspired by her beautiful blue eyes!

Meet the team: one dreamer, one very patient husband.

I may be the driving force behind ÉLAN BLEU, but he’s the one who keeps the wheels turning (and the rosé chilled). It’s a partnership built on lots and lots of laughter, late nights, and a shared belief that great wine brings people together - including us!

A moment for the bottle

As we believe that great wine doesn’t just sit at the table, it sets the tone, we wanted to design a bottle that reflected just that. Each bottle is screen printed directly onto glass by a French artisan, using real gold detailing, making every piece truly unique. And once the wine is gone… don’t throw it away.
